The Fall 2016 Session is Off to a Great Start!

We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time and now our Fall 2016 Session is finally underway. We couldn’t be more thrilled. We’ve processed about 35 applications for new tutors. Amazingly, 25 of these new recruits joined us for New Tutor Orientation at the Waccamaw Library this past Saturday. Dr. Jamia Richmond, our director of volunteer training, shared the history of our organization and prepared the new tutors for one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives.
